These simple values are at the heart of TinyDeeds. We believe that everyone has a right to food whenever they are hungry. We believe that it is the job of the people to care for each other. We believe that coming together makes us stronger. The people, united, will never be defeated!
TinyDeeds, like so many amazing community organizations, grew out of a huge need and a willing group of humans who wanted to stand with their neighbors. During times of crisis—the earlier years of Covid19, the SNAP shutdown of 2025, rising food costs marking the current administration—TinyDeeds has been there to feed anyone who needs it. We fill fridges. We fill bellies. We fill hearts, both others and our own. We save each other!
The Community Table Needs YOU!
We need the support of our community now more than ever! As food prices rise and mental health rates decline, our community events provide a safe and loving space for people to get a meal and come together with their neighbors. But we can’t do this alone! Do you have a few bucks you can pitch in today? Donations are tax deductible!
We believe that fresh, accessible food is a right, not a privilege!
In a society where everything is monetized and restricted, getting food to people who are marginalized is vital.
For the entirety of American history, food has been used to punish, harm, and divide people who have been denied societal power.
Getting delicious, fresh, diet respectful food to these same people is an act of brilliant resistance!
